When I founded Idéeclic back in 1995 I had a clear vision; help museums and other educational institutions use the web as part of their interpretive strategy. I pushed them not just to advertise their location, but to really use the technology to reach out to people.
Place-Royale, from the present to the past

Idéeclic and the Musée de la Civilisation de Quebec have partnered in the development of a unique, innovative online experience called Place-Royale, from the present to the past. This National Historic Site, located in Quebec City, Canada, was the site of the first permanent French settlement in North America, created by Samuel de Champlain in 1608.ng back 5000 years.
